RZOLV™ is specifically formulated to operate under open-air, ambient-temperature conditions typical of heap leach environments. Working at mildly acidic pH and moderate oxidation-reduction potentials, RZOLV™ forms stable, soluble gold complexes without producing toxic gases or harmful by-products. The reagent’s strong oxidative capacity and buffering system maintain consistent solution strength even during long percolation cycles—ensuring uniform contact, high recovery, and minimal passivation across large heaps. Importantly, RZOLV™ functions effectively with existing infrastructure, allowing mines to transition from cyanide to clean chemistry with minimal capital investment.
Performance, Cost, and Environmental Advantages
Field testing has shown that RZOLV™ achieves recoveries comparable to or exceeding cyanide across oxide, sulfide, and complex ore types, while maintaining solution stability over prolonged leach cycles. The reagent’s compatibility with standard carbon and adsorption circuits enables direct integration into current operations. Electrochemical regeneration further enhances economics by reducing reagent consumption and make-up costs.
