Industry recognition places RZOLV among leading innovators advancing the future of mineral processing

RZOLV Technologies Inc. is proud to announce that its proprietary water-based, non-cyanide leaching platform has been shortlisted for the 2026 Mining Magazine Mineral Processing Excellence Award.

The Mining Magazine Awards recognize technologies, companies and individuals making meaningful contributions to the global mining industry. This year, the judging panel evaluated more than 100 entries across 13 categories, with a focus on innovation, technical achievement and the potential to improve mining performance.

RZOLV is one of six finalists in the Mineral Processing Excellence category, joining an accomplished group that includes Gold Fields, Lilac Solutions, Momentum Technologies, Major and Sofi Filtration.

For RZOLV, the shortlisting represents meaningful industry recognition of a technology being developed to address one of mineral processing’s most persistent challenges: recovering valuable metals without relying exclusively on conventional cyanide-based methods.

“Being shortlisted by Mining Magazine is an important recognition of the work our team and technical partners have invested in advancing RZOLV,” said Duane Nelson, President and CEO of RZOLV Technologies. “We are honoured to be included alongside respected mining companies and technology developers working to improve the efficiency, sustainability and performance of mineral processing.”

A New Pathway for Metal Recovery

RZOLV™ is a proprietary, water-based hydrometallurgical platform designed to recover precious, base and selected critical metals from ores, concentrates, tailings and secondary materials.

The technology is being developed for applications where conventional processing may be constrained by metallurgy, toxicity, permitting requirements, environmental management, solution complexity or operating costs.

RZOLV’s development programs have progressed from laboratory testing to independent validation, pilot-scale evaluation and bulk-scale field testing. The Company is also evaluating opportunities to integrate RZOLV with complementary mining, oxidation, separation and downstream metal-recovery technologies.

These initiatives support RZOLV’s broader objective of providing mining and resource-recovery companies with practical, scalable alternatives for challenging feed materials and previously stranded mineral resources.

Recognition Within a Global Innovation Community

The Mineral Processing Excellence shortlist reflects the breadth of innovation underway across the mining industry—from direct lithium extraction and advanced filtration to critical-mineral separation and improved processing infrastructure.

RZOLV’s inclusion positions its non-cyanide leaching platform within this wider movement toward technologies that can improve recoveries, reduce environmental liabilities and unlock new sources of valuable metals.

“This recognition belongs to the entire RZOLV team and to the laboratories, mining companies, research organizations and strategic partners that have supported our development,” Nelson added. “It reinforces our commitment to disciplined testing, independent technical evaluation and the advancement of RZOLV toward commercial applications.”

The winners of the 2026 Mining Magazine Awards are scheduled to be announced on September 7, 2026, and featured in the September edition of Mining Magazine.
